The Deputy Mayor Stoyanov handed the certificates to nearly 100 teachers, who willingly participated in the project “Innovative Schools” of Plovdiv Municipality and “World Education Forum Bulgaria”.

They are from Primary School “Al. Konstantinov”, Primary School “Rayna Knyaginya”, Primary School “Kocho Chesemensky”, Primary School “Yane Sandanski”, Primary School “Yordan Yovkov”, Primary School “Elin Pelin”, Secondary School “Patriarh Evtimiy” and Primary School “P. R. Slaveykov”. They all passed special training to develop and implement the innovative methods of the program and got special practical guidance on how to use a project-oriented approach and create the conditions for teamwork and how to incorporate modern technology into the classroom.

“I very much rely that with your help this project will be successful. And we will be able to attract more of your colleagues. Honestly until a few months ago, I did not believe 8 schools would be involved. Today so much want to involve. The project is open to all. The Municipality is behind you”, added Stefan Stoyanov.

The project, which envisages organizing a new way of education and the education environment, will last for 5 years. The aim of the applied innovative practices is to make all children active in order to increase their motivation, to develop their skills for analysis, presentation, positive communication, team work.
